VK Singh: No Indo-Myanmar boundary dispute

IMPHAL, 9th Feb: Union minister of external affairs Gen (Dr) VK Singh has categorically stated that there is no boundary dispute between India and Myanmar but boundary demarcation work remains to be completed in some sectors of the international border including in Manipur sector. Responding to a query by MP Dr Th Meinya in the Lok Sabha on February 7, the Union minister maintained that regular dialogue is being held between India and Myanmar on all issues related to boundary demarcation and border management through institutionalised mechanism such as foreign office consultations, National Level Meetings, Joint Boundary Working Group, Sectoral Level Meetings and heads of survey department meetings.
