UNC gets ready for talks with strong team
SENAPATI: United Naga Council (UNC) is all prepared for the tripartite talks on district creation issue on Friday. According to sources, an 11-member delegation of UNC will participate in the talks. As part of their preparations for the event, UNC leaders had a ‘serious’ discussion in its office at Senapati on Thursday. UNC president Gaidon Kamei chaired the meeting. However, it was not known what transpired in the discussion. As usual, MHA joint secretary in-charge of Northeast Satyendra Garg will chair the tripartite talks. Ministers V Hangkhanlian, N Kayisii and Th Radheshyam will lead the state government delegation. Additional chief secretary (Home) Dr J Suresh Babu and Commissioner (Works & IPR) K Radhakumar will also be part of the state delegation.
