Rajnath urged to transfer Pravish case to CBI
IMPHAL, 18th Jan:
Chief minister N Biren and Rajya Sabha MP K Bhabananda met Union home minister Rajnath Singh at New Delhi on Thursday and urged him to direct the UP government to transfer the case of Pravish Chanam to CBI at the earliest. They also discussed about sanctioning of additional IRB battalions for Manipur, helicopter scheme, vacating Old Koirengei Airfield currently occupied by Territorial Army and introduction of a new Surrenderees' Rehabilitation Policy. Biren also met BJP national president Amit Shah and discussed about the various ongoing developmental projects in the state. They also discussed about Imphal-Delhi direct flight services and providing parking space in Delhi airport. He also requested Amit Shah to pursue Central government for support to the state government in providing potable water supply to every household. The CM further met BJP national secretary and North East in-charge Ram Madhav and discussed various issues and developmental works being taken up in Manipur. Biren also officially invited all the three BJP leaders to the 1st anniversary celebration of BJP-led state government which is scheduled to be held on March 15, 2018.
