Taken aback by reports of non-payment of already assured financial assistance to the eight Manipuri footballers who are in the Indian team for the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup, Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Thursday directed for the immediate payment of Rs 5 lakh each.

Petrol dealers call off nationwide strike
